This page has been created for the NRIMS Metadata Working Group.
The promotion and coordination of natural resources metadata activities in NSW are
overseen by the NSW Metadata Working Group. The group was established in 1997 under the
NSW Natural Resources Information Management Strategy and is representative of eleven
natural resources and land information agencies.
The Group's terms of reference are:
- To develop an infrastructure in NSW to collect, maintain and supply ANZLIC-compliant
metadata for all natural resources datasets consistent with the standards established
for the Australian Spatial Data Infrastructure (ASDI).
- To provide a forum for the exchange of information on metadata standards, systems
and other developments at agency, state and national levels.
This page provides the Metadata Working Group members with access to the proceedings and
